Crop Residue/Corn Stover Bailing

Maize Corporation recognizes the challenges of working with residuals such as corn stalks, milo stalks, soybean and peanut residue and has developed several baler upgrades that can aid in the baling process and improve bale quality and uptime.

  • Perforated pan – we have designed a perforated pan to install below the packer crank that allows dirt to fall out before it goes into the charge and bale chamber. Simply unbolt your bottom pan and bolt the new pan into place. Maize Part M3010022
  • Grated Trip Door – we are supplying the J&M grated trip door to replace the standard trip in the stuffer chute. This grated door helps drop out rocks and other fine grit. Maize Part M3010006
  • Needle Brush Kits – These are standard equipment on the new generation models, but the Maize kits fit all the 4x4x8 models. These brushes wipe the needles clean before entering the knotter head.
  • Plunger Sweep Extensions – These extensions attaché to the top face of the plunger and push the top corner of the bale back into the chamber, allowing more clearance for the needles to come past without picking up material and carrying it into the knotter head.
  • Bale Restrictor – Maize Bale restrictor kits help shape the bale and add density and weight.
