Maize Corporation was born as an offshoot of the Field Queen division of Hesston. In 1977, Hesston was in the process of moving its Field Queen division from Maize, KS when three former Field Queen employees embarked on a new venture which became Maize Corporation. The three founders were Bernard Wells, Ernie Vonfeldt and Bill Majerus.
Maize Corporation began manufacturing and distributing repair parts to farmers, custom harvesting companies and dehydrating companies as their first products in 1977.
In 1989 Maize Corporation initiated a program to manufacture repair parts for the Hesston Big Square Baler.
We reached another milestone in 2002 when Maize Corporation began manufacturing parts for the Deere forage harvesters.
Today, Maize Corporation supplies repair parts to Forage and Hay producers from Maine to California and Washington to Georgia as well as Canada, Europe and Australia.
